Margaret Wrede (about 1820—5 October 1884)

Margaret Wrede1,2 has no recorded parents. She was born about 1820 in Ireland. 1 She died on 5 October 1884 . 3 She was buried at Longwood Cemetery, Melbourne, Caradoc, Middlesex, ON, CA. 3

She married William Devlin.

William Devlin1 has no recorded parents. He was born about 1805 in Ireland. 1 He worked as a Farmer from 1871 to 1878 at lot 16 con 3, Ekfrid, Middlesex, ON, CA. 4,5 He worked as a Farmer in 1881 at Ekfrid, Middlesex, ON, CA. 6 He died on 21 July 1883 supposed to be Heart Disease, died instantly at Ekfrid, Middlesex, ON, CA. 3,7 The cause of death was supposed to be Heart Disease, died instantly7 . He was buried at Longwood Cemetery, Melbourne, Caradoc, Middlesex, ON, CA. 3

Notes: The probability that William Devlin is the father of John Devlin (b. abt. 1838) is indicated by the fact that they were farming immediately adjacent properties in 1871 (although separated by a census enumeration division boundary so this is not obvious) and in 1878, and are enumerated side by side in 1881. In the 1871 census William's wife Margaret is 15 years younger than him, and only 17 years older than John, suggesting Margaret is his second wife, and John is a son of a first wife.
