Notes: Thomas Wilton, his wife Hannah, and all the children, appear in the 1861 census as living in Warwick township (district 3) on a 100 acre farm at concession 5 lot 15. With them were their children William, Sarah E., David, and the twins Margaret A. and Eliza C. John Wilton, age 13, is listed out of order, suggesting he was not their son. They moved to Cedar Springs, Tyrone township, Kent country, MI. Then to Howe township, Oconto country, WI, USA. In the 1880 US census Thomas was living with his son David.
