Susan Mary Watkinson was the daughter of William Watkinson and Catherine. She was born about 1863 in England. 1

She married John Roland Sickles on 13 September 1882 at Port Huron, St Clair, Michigan, USA. 2This was a double wedding with Oliver David Minor marrying  Ellen Victoria McMillen, all four from Strathroy.

John Roland Sickles was the son of George Sickles and Matilda Dell. He was born about 1864 at Adelaide, Middlesex, ON, CA. 3 He worked as a Carpenter from 1882 to 1884 at Strathroy, Middlesex, ON, CA. 4,5
