Marriage Registration Query Response: Help

This page presents a summary of the marriage registrations that match the request that you made. There is one row for each participant in the marriage. Each row contains:

• A button which provides access to the details of the transcription. If you are signed on and authorized to update the Death Registration table, then this button appears as Update, otherwise it appears as Display. Clicking on this button displays detailed information about the marriage.
• The year of registration of the death.
• The registration number within the year.
• A letter indicating the role of the individual in this marriage: 'G' for the groom, 'B' for the bride, and optionally 'M' for the minister.
• The surname and given names of the participant. If this registration is cited as documentation for the marriage in the family tree, then the name is a hyperlink to the associated record in the family tree database describing the individual.
• The year of birth. This is calculated from the age at the time of marriage.
• The date of marriage.
• The place where the marriage took place.
